The Warrior Athletics Park at 1679 Cayuga Road Ohsweken, Ontario focuses on making our children strong and healthy by providing events and programs for ages 4 to 17. This government funded facility is relatively new to Ohsweken yet has already gained a reputation for providing excellent support for youth within the community
The Warriors Athletic Park required a new entrance way to their home playing field. They needed to bring their park to life, a new way to let people find the park, but allow for announcements and information to be available for patrons and advanced notice for the public as they passed by the park.
VersaTruss was contacted to discuss possible solution. After a short investigation into their needs and potential future requirements, a modular four cord truss archway was chosen. This archway features the VersaTruss modular four cord truss system. This truss in manufactured from 2” aircraft aluminum uprights with .5” webbing for strength. This solution allows for future changes to the new structure with little effort.
This structure also can be installed permanently using concrete footings or semi permanently with stainless cables supports.
In addition this truss archway not only features overhead signage but also frontal and side signage opportunities which was a necessity as sponsors frequently change depending on the upcoming scheduled functions.
